As the year comes to an end, we would like to take a moment to thank all of our clients and friends. In 2022, our EMP&A clients received nearly 300 new trademark registrations from the USPTO. We were fortunate to work with new clients and businesses in their infancy, along with other clients who we begin working 20 years ago! We handled US applications, international applications, all types of disputes, copyright filings, monthly monitoring, and much more thanks to the support of clients - past and present - like you.

World Cup 2022 Trademark Stories

The FIFA World Cup tournament did not disapppoint this year as one of the biggest athletic and global events in the world. In the midst of the tournament, In this video, Erik shared some insights about FIFA trademarks, along with the stars on the pitch – many of whom have brands that are not fully protected.

Our team spent a chilly morning volunteering with Food Justice DMV by sorting a packing up fresh produce for delivery to help support local families in need. Then it was back to making trademarks bloom with warm hearts!
