The following is an edited transcript of my video 25 Examples of Great Small Business Brands.

Great and bold brands are everywhere – especially among small businesses.

  1. A restaurant in Florida called Mango Mango’s, which is a creative name in and of its own, but their slogan is even better. Their slogan is “So good, you have to say it twice.”
  2. A fishing place in Maine with a great slogan, “Fishing, not wishing.”
  3. A hair salon called Julius Scissor – what a playful name on the Roman Empire

Last but not least, my wife and brother-in-law’s business, Clare and Don’s Beach Shack. A fun, playful name because the neighborhood, the original location was in an area called Clarendon—a fun play on that name by making it Clare and Don’s.
