… and I don’t mean a “trademark” sound or a “trademark” look. I mean brands.  And trademark registrations and applications. This is wise. The cost to protect a trademark, compared to the cost of making and promoting a record or a concert tour, is minimal. And entertainers sell not only music, but often shirts and other goods featuring their brand name, not to mention endorsement opportunities.
