To remain prepared amidst a crisis such as the global coronavirus pandemic, a brand can make sure that each of the following are addressed (or at least considered) in its decision-making:

  • Clear communications, to be proactive and available to customers
  • Adapting to changing environment, such as online delivery, or streamlined operations
  • Ensure proper trademark and intellectual property protection, to minimize risks and exposure
  • Put customers and employees ahead of revenue, ensuring their trust will maximize opportunity
  • Stay true to core values, which should never waiver
  • Plan to grow and launch when crisis ends, as those prepared will take off quicker
