  1. As of October 21, 2019 is Fly Eagles Fly trademarked? I want to make some shirts for an annual walk for The American Foundation to Prevent Suicide. My husband had been a life long Eagles fan his entire life and committed suicide in February 25, 2019. In honor of my late husband, I created a team for the walk and called us Fly Eagles Fly and wish to maintain the team name annually to honor and pay tribute to my husband.

    • Thanks for your comment. Although I cannot provide specific legal advice here, I can say that the sports leagues are generally rather aggressive asserting their trademark rights I would would use caution. Using the shirts for family and friends, however, and not for sale, may be less concerning.
