Tonight, Alabama and Notre Dame will square off on the football field for the BCS National Championship. Regardless of which team you are rooting for, there is no doubting that both football programs and universities have storied histories.   • Trademark image– very creatively, this design of the N.D. class ring is registered as a ‘collective membership mark’ for indicating that the user is a member of the student body or an alumnus. This is the only class ring design trademark I have ever come across.
  • RUDY is a  former Notre Dame student made famous by the movie of the same name. The name is registered by Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger for ‘Educational and entertainment services, namely, providing motivational and educational speakers’
